Jason Statham has to get cranked again thank to directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor: indeed the English hooligan is back in a sequel to Crank. The film is titled Crank 2 High Voltage. In the movie Crank 2 Jason Statham, in the role of hitman Chev Chelios is literally chasing his heart! The film should be released in April 2009.

A promo trailer of Crank 2, which leaked on the web a few days ago but since taken down, let us think that it will be rated R. And for a reason this time: Crank 2 is a fireworks of abusive language, violence and sex! An explosive cocktail that's sure to drive a young male audience to theaters!
Just to ease you about Crank 2: Amy Smart, who's Statham's girl in the movie, was photographed brandishing taped nipples (--> NSFW), she disclosed that her character Eve has become a pole dancer. And of course she will have another public sex scene with Jason Statham will occur: this time taking place on a horse racing track!
Would be nice to see Lionsgate promoting some organ Donation / Transplantation information event along Crank 2 in the same spirit as what they usually do for the Saw movies with the Blood Drive events.
Crank 2 will a heartbreaking movie! Promise!
